How Much Should I Pay for My Jade? What is the Best Price for Jade?

Posted by Ying Yu Jade

There's a Chinese saying:  Diamonds and gold have a price, but jade has no price".  That's because diamonds and gold are often valued by carat and karat weight.  But jade is not a gemstone with "weight", so the price is determined by what the buyer and seller agree on.

Ying Yu Jade is getting the jade ready for the holiday sale season.  You will notice that the "Deal of the Day" has one or two items with very low prices, but throughout the site you will see many marked down sale price jade items.  As the holiday season approaches, it will become more risky and costly to ship jade orders.  The USPS postal system has been cutting back on services, but raising shipping prices.  And due to COVID, there are fewer experienced and reliable mail carriers now.  As we get closer to the holidays, it will become more risky to ship, so now is a good time to make your jade purchase.  And that's why you see lower prices.

So check out the "Deal of the Day", the Super Sale Collection, and look around the other Collections to find great lower prices.  And of course you are always welcome to "make an offer".  Send an email with your name, country location, and the item number and brief description so we can determine if your offer is good for us, too!

Chinese Jade Teapot and Tea Pot Sets for Jade and Tea Lovers

Posted by Ying Yu Jade

I love Chinese tea. When I went to China, I always ordered tea with meals and drank as much tea as I ate food! My favorites are jasmin tea and green tea, and I still drink these every day. So of course I loved the jade teapots and shopped for jade tea pot sets while I was in China. They are big and heavy when packed to bring back to USA so I could bring back only one or two sets each year. And kept them in the office where I can see them often. I kept a set that I don't use for making or drinking tea, but they can be used not only as decor but also for steeping and drinking tea. When a friend in China who is also part of the China Jade Association had a tea ceremony for me, these are the kind of jade tea sets he used. Small pots of delicious tea poured in small cups, and drank "ceremoniously".  The price reflects the quality of the jade, the hours, days taken to carve these, and the high cost of packing and shipping to you. They ship to USA addresses only

What Kind of Jade to Wear for Health and Wellness During COVID-19 and Summer

Posted by Ying Yu Jade

During the winter, until last week, I have been wearing a powerful qi energy darker green veins jadeite bangle bracelet.  There is some lighter green "yin" to balance the darker green "yang".  I felt the powerful qi energy all the time I wore it.

My "yang" deep green veins Burmese jadeite bangle bracelet

Last week I felt like my body was having too much "heaviness".  Not weight gain, just a lot of pressure all the time.   Being summer here in central Florida, it has been very hot, 90's almost every day, and humid.  My "jade bangle drawer" started calling me!  I reached in and fondled the jade bangles, not really looking at them.  Then I touched one that felt "just right".

"Yin" mostly white with soft green veins, very translucent

And it is just right for me now.  And probably good for anyone who wears jade in summer for health and wellness.  The green color is related to the liver meridian for health and wellness of body.  And the white color is related to the lung meridian for lung health, one of the top concerns regarding COVID-19.  The overall translucence gives this "old mine" Burmese jadeite bangle bracelet a "glow" that also makes me feel "glow".  I have more energy, calmness, and body, brain and spirit much improved. During this hot summer, the white light color is "cooling".

It's a very small jade bangle for me, and I will have difficulty removing it, but you can read about how to get a small jade bangle on and off on our web sites jade bangle bracelets pages. Ying Yu Jade and Jade Heaven

If you are like me and wear your jade bangle bracelets not only for the beauty, but also for the qi energy, "medicine you wear on your wrist", then white jade with some green color can be very helpful during this COVID-19 time we are experiencing.

And a good excuse to get a beautiful new jade bangle bracelet, for summer, and always.

I often get asked by customers if the jade Chinese medicine tools, like jade rollers, jade gua sha tools is "real jade",   Earlier this month I contacted my jade carver in China because I needed more of the jade gua sha tools with comb for hair and scalp.

My jade associate in Dandong, who is also selling the WholesaleJadeRollers, went to our jade carver Kou near Xinjiang to purchase them for me.  Here is his experience:

A Jade Roller with Needles Like Acupuncture What is THAT?!

Posted by Ying Yu Jade

This morning when I was finishing my taiji (tai chi) form, and closing the form with smoothing the qi through my body, I was amazed to actually feel the qi flow through me.  It felt like light tingles,  very spiritual and healing.  Prior to doing my taiji and yoga practices, I do some qigong exercises to unblock qi in my body as best I can.  Blocked qi is what causes medical problems, pain according to Chinese medicine.  And that makes taiji, and yoga, more beneficial to do.

One of my favorite jade pieces is the Chinese jade acu-roller.

smooth out your body qi.  It also improves blood circulation.  I start on my upper body, roll it downwards on my arms, chest and back, then hips and legs.  Even if I didn't do the taiji and yoga afterwards, I would feel much better, refreshed.  The rolling takes only a few minutes, and you can do it as short or long as you want to.  (I have seen people selling these acu-rollers for facial use, but never use this jade acu-roller on your face, as it can damage your skin and small blood vessels because the face is so delicate.   Use a smooth jade roller instead.)

I keep this on my night stand by the bed, and when I wake up feeling sore and very tired I can use it for a few minutes to start feeling better.

I had the good experience of meeting with my jade carver in China when I was with my Chinese doctor friend.  We worked with the jade carving about using very good quality of Chinese jade he would purchase directly from the jade mine.  Then he carved them to high standards.  I sell these often to Chinese medicine practitioners here in the USA, as well as individuals who prefer natural health and wellness treatments.

A favorite of mine for years!
