Recently a friend who is recovering from a stroke and goes to physical therapy was frustrated because she is doing everything to get stronger, but cannot get nerves in lower leg and foot to get the feeling again. She is not a "jade lover" but agreed to try using the jade acu-roller, shown in the photo and a jade gua sha scraper. Chinese jade has been used for centuries in China for healing because the jade has good "qi energy". She uses the gua sha to "scrape" the entire leg where the nerves are damaged until she "feels" activity there. Then she rollers the large roller with small "needles" over the same area until she "feels" more. She does this several times daily, and is finally getting "feeling" back because muscle is improving and nerves are healing. Now she can do more physical therapy to improve the muscle strength.
Ying Yu Jade introduced jade rollers and gua sha tools to USA 23 years ago. Of course, now there is a lot of "jade" gua sha and rollers made with "fake jade". But if you want genuine and natural Chinese jade, you are guaranteed to get this on Ying Yu Jade.
Ying Yu Jade has a variety of jade rollers, large medium and small, as well as the large heavier "acu roller" that has the "needles" like used for acupuncture.
And there is a selection of jade gua sha tools to choose from. They all work well, and you choose the tool that appeals to you, because your qi is attracted to it.
]]>Most women have been taught that to do a Kegel pelvic floor exercise, they should simply squeeze the muscles you feel when you stop the flow of urine. And most men are under the impression that pelvic floor exercise isn't for them.
Pelvic floor weakness affects both men and women. And what we have learned is that squeezing the muscles that stop the flow of urine often leads to tightening the wrong muscles which can lead to medical problems, including urinary incontinence and pain during sex, pelvic organ prolapse, and more problems.
The Right Way to Do Kegel Exercise
Imagine the pelvic floor muscles between your two sitting bones. Inhale, and while you exhale, draw the muscles together as if they were two halves of an elevator door closing to meet in the middle. Once the "door is closed", lift the elevator up and then release. Now, imagine the pelvic floor muscles between your pubic bone and tailbone. Inhale, and when you exhale draw those muscles together in the same elevator door fashion, lift the elevator, then release. Now draw all four elevator doors together at once, meeting at one point in the middle, then lift and release. Repeat five times, then rest. Practice this 2-3 times per week.
Practice Tip
It's tricky to locate your pelvic floor muscles. Start by picturing them as a "hammock" that's slung between your sitting bones, and another between your pubic bone and tailbone. To feel them, stand tall, feet shoulder width apart, and firm the outer shins in to your midline. This gives you greater ability to firm the outer hips, which in turn gives you increased access to your pelvic floor.
Use Your Jade Eggs or Ben Wa Balls Today
Don't put them in a drawer for "later"
* Wash with warm soapy water to remove wax and residue
* Empty your bladder
* Do your kegel exercise
* You can keep them in for 15-20 minutes to improve muscle strength and get the benefits of jade qi energy
* Remove, wash with warm soapy water, dry with a soft cloth
* Leave your jade in natural daylight, but not direct sunlight to keep the jade qi energy active. Never boil in hot water.

You will notice that the "Deal of the Day" has one or two items with very low prices, but throughout the site you will see many marked down sale price jade items. My "yang" deep green veins Burmese jadeite bangle bracelet |
Last week I felt like my body was having too much "heaviness". Not weight gain, just a lot of pressure all the time. Being summer here in central Florida, it has been very hot, 90's almost every day, and humid. My "jade bangle drawer" started calling me! I reached in and fondled the jade bangles, not really looking at them. Then I touched one that felt "just right".
"Yin" mostly white with soft green veins, very translucent |
And it is just right for me now. And probably good for anyone who wears jade in summer for health and wellness. The green color is related to the liver meridian for health and wellness of body. And the white color is related to the lung meridian for lung health, one of the top concerns regarding COVID-19. The overall translucence gives this "old mine" Burmese jadeite bangle bracelet a "glow" that also makes me feel "glow". I have more energy, calmness, and body, brain and spirit much improved. During this hot summer, the white light color is "cooling".
It's a very small jade bangle for me, and I will have difficulty removing it, but you can read about how to get a small jade bangle on and off on our web sites jade bangle bracelets pages. Ying Yu Jade and Jade Heaven
If you are like me and wear your jade bangle bracelets not only for the beauty, but also for the qi energy, "medicine you wear on your wrist", then white jade with some green color can be very helpful during this COVID-19 time we are experiencing.
And a good excuse to get a beautiful new jade bangle bracelet, for summer, and always.
]]>I often get asked by customers if the jade Chinese medicine tools, like jade rollers, jade gua sha tools is "real jade", Earlier this month I contacted my jade carver in China because I needed more of the jade gua sha tools with comb for hair and scalp.
My jade associate in Dandong, who is also selling the WholesaleJadeRollers, went to our jade carver Kou near Xinjiang to purchase them for me. Here is his experience: |

Purchased for Ying Yu Jade |
So yes, all of our Chinese jade is genuine and natural jade. Our jade carver knows the quality and color we want, and my associate in China chooses the best colors, most attractive jade tools for me to sell on Ying Yu Jade. That includes Chinese jade bangle bracelets, jade pendants, jade carvings, jade rollers, and all the jade we sell.
One of my favorite jade pieces is the Chinese jade acu-roller.
smooth out your body qi. It also improves blood circulation. I start on my upper body, roll it downwards on my arms, chest and back, then hips and legs. Even if I didn't do the taiji and yoga afterwards, I would feel much better, refreshed. The rolling takes only a few minutes, and you can do it as short or long as you want to. (I have seen people selling these acu-rollers for facial use, but never use this jade acu-roller on your face, as it can damage your skin and small blood vessels because the face is so delicate. Use a smooth jade roller instead.)
I keep this on my night stand by the bed, and when I wake up feeling sore and very tired I can use it for a few minutes to start feeling better.
I had the good experience of meeting with my jade carver in China when I was with my Chinese doctor friend. We worked with the jade carving about using very good quality of Chinese jade he would purchase directly from the jade mine. Then he carved them to high standards. I sell these often to Chinese medicine practitioners here in the USA, as well as individuals who prefer natural health and wellness treatments.
A favorite of mine for years!

Vaginal atrophy (atrophic vaginitis) is thinning, drying and inflammation of the vaginal walls due to your body having less estrogen. Vaginal atrophy occurs most often after menopause. For many women, vaginal atrophy not only makes intercourse painful, but also leads to distressing urinary symptoms.
The good news is that vaginal atrophy can be reversed. Big Pharma options include topical and oral estrogen. Of course, there are side effects. And using estrogen cream vaginally can be messy.
So how can you help treat vaginal atrophy naturally? Ying Yu Jade eggs.
Ying Yu Jade genuine and natural jade eggs and ben wa balls to help vaginal atrophy |
I traveled to China to meet with a Chinese medicine doctor to "get through" menopause. My hot flashes were so intense, I felt like I would burn through the earth. When I went to China with my Chinese qigong teacher who lived in Beijing to learn the basics of Chinese medicine, the doctor told me he could help me get through menopause in a few weeks.
And it worked. The Chinese medicine doctor did a very intense acupuncture points diagnosis, that took about 30 minutes. Then he wrote a prescription for me of Chinese medicine herbs that were unique to my physical condition. I took it to the pharmacy, and they prepared the boiled herbs, packaged it in small bags that I would ingest one each day. Within 10 days I was feeling much better. I refilled the medicine before I left China. In 7 weeks, I no longer had those awful menopause symptoms. I was so impressed with the treatment, I went back to the doctor a year later for treatment for my fibromyalgia. That's when I learned about jade being used for centuries as part of Chinese medicine. My lack of estrogen was causing vaginal discomfort, and the doctor was amazed that I did not know about using jade eggs and/or ben wa balls, as Chinese and Asian women have used for centuries.
I did kegel excersise and noticed improvement. More moist and intercourse much easier and enjoyable.
I wanted to sell these in the USA because we had not heard about this wonderful, natural treatment for vaginal atrophy. The doctor took me to a jade carver in northeast China, 16 hour train ride from Beijing. He told the jade carver I wanted to buy natural, well made jade eggs to sell in USA, and he made me a good supply.
Ying Yu Jade was the first web site to sell these jade eggs and ben wa balls here in the USA. We still sell only genuine and natural Chinese jade eggs, "yoni" eggs and ben wa balls. There is a video on Ying Yu Jade web site about using jade eggs. And when you purchase a set, you receive a page of basic kegel instructions. And since I appreciate and advocate for women's wellness, they are priced reasonably. You get the best quality classic Chinese jade that has good qi healing energy.
I use these myself, and know that they work well to strengthen the vaginal muscles and increase moisture. If you to have vaginal atrophy, start with the smallest eggs, then when that is comfortable in your vagina, move up to the medium size. When you can comfortably use the large jade egg, you will be able to enjoy intercourse again.

]]>Of course jade Pig pendants are popular this season.
There is other jade that is also auspicious for Chinese New Year.
The jade "Money Toads" have been selling fast so they arrive before the new year. They are kept in homes and offices for bringing prosperity. The face of Toad should be towards the office, or family gathering area, never face Toad outwards. A coin in Toad's mouth reminds him what his mission in life is.
Since this is year of Earth Pig, the Chinese "River Jade" Bangle bracelets are good to wear. It's even better if the color includes brown, hong orange/red.
Any jade is auspicious to wear, use, give and receive during the lunar new year, and for most of us jade lover, every day!

I keep a jade gua sha tool with comb on my night stand. And I use it almost every day. When I wake up in the morning, and my brain feels fuzzy, I use the jade comb on my scalp for a few minutes. It feels so good. The comb stimulates not only the scalp, but also increases blood flow to the brain.
If hair is dry, or too oily, the jade comb helps to balance. Also, as one ages, hair tends to get more frizzy, and the jade comb and stimulation help improve the hair.
The gua sha tool part can be used for scraping the body. It's great for improving neck pain. And the indentation on one end can be used to stimulate the fingers and toes, improving circulation and pain.
And they are "cute". The gift recipient will be surprised to see such a unique jade item. You can add a pretty box and make it look even more special.
The jade combs are made by Ying Yu Jade carver in China who purchases genuine and natural jade from the jade mines, and carves each to high standards. Due to the details of the comb, the carving taking a lot of careful work, so the price is actually very good considering the time it takes to carve each one.
So, what makes a good jade gift if you can't decide: a jade comb gua sha tool.
And treat yourself with a jade comb!

Ying Yu Jade is genuine and natural, Chinese jade and Burmese jadeite. Some is very vintage, from being purchased around the turn of the century, or from Chinese family estate sales. The jadeite bangle bracelet in the photo is a very valuable and vintage genuine and natural Burmese jadeite. Classic round style, carved and worn during the Qing Dynasty The item number is V683, you can get more information about here.
The newer Burmese jadeite bangle bracelets are less expensive, and most of these were purchased in the early 2000's. They are often called "old mine" because the jade mines in Burma had political problems that led to them being outlawed for entrance into the USA by the US government.
Ying Yu Jade has been selling genuine and natural Chinese jade bangle bracelets, pendants, carvings, and Chinese medicine gua sha tools, jade rollers and more since 1999. We have worked with our jade carver in China so he knows the quality we are known for selling.
And Ying Yu Jade will include a "little of everything" in our Black Friday sales.

Ying Yu Jade was the first seller of jade ben wa balls and eggs years ago. Our jade carver in China buys the genuine natural Chinese jade in bulk, then carved to our standards. But some of these jade eggs and balls are not "perfect".
We ordered a huge quantity each time, and sometimes the jade carver had help, and they didn't do a very good job, not polishing well, or cracking them while carving and still including them in the order. Then they get shipped from China to Florida, and go through customs. Almost every time customs inspects, they do not pack up everything very good when they get done, and that causes damage during the rest of the shipment.
Living in Florida, plants flourish from rain, heat and humidity. When I fertilize, it seems like the weeds get the benefits of fertilization, and that means more weeds. And that's not my favorite thing to take care of. One day some of my plants didn't look very good and I was thinking how if I weren't doing good I would wear jade, so why not the plants?
Jade works to improve plant health! And of course I want to share, so they are on sale, clearance priced, if you would like to try them for your plants, garden and yard. Here they are for you.
]]>Ying Yu Jade (and Jade Heaven) eggs were made to Chinese medicine standards, unlike many of the jade eggs that are available today which may be too large to be helpful, and actually can cause harm to you. Consider this: if you use a jade egg that is too large, instead of tightening, strengthening your pelvic area, they stretch your vagina and cause you to become less sensitive to sexuality than more sensitive. A set is versatile; if you have experienced childbirth, need "tightening", start with the large jade egg until you can keep it inside, then move to the medium, then the smallest size, when you will be in great shape!'
The jade ben wa balls are for "average" women. You can use them the same way as the jade eggs, starting with two, then working down to one to be able to keep in your vagina. Some women wear them for a few hours, and "play" with them, moving them around inside the vagina.
There is more information about jade eggs and ben wa balls and a video on the Collection Page
There are other options to purchase, including "yin and yang" darker color for balance, and cute boxes for storing them.
We want women to get the best size and shape of jade eggs and jade ben wa balls. The jade is genuine and natural Chinese jade, purchased by our jade carver in China, who makes them to Chinese medicine size and specifications, and does good work so you get the best quality of jade eggs, jade ben wa balls. So we have reduced the prices and now you can get the best jade eggs and ben wa balls at low, low prices.

]]>Driving from central Florida to Key West through the Keys was so heart breaking, looking at all the devastation from Hurricane Irma more than six weeks ago. It must have been absolutely horrible to live there after Irma.
And while we were in Key West, tropical storm Philippe formed south of Cuba. We decided to leave a couple days early. Not only because of lots of rain and high wind, but also because the highway was already a mess and not cleaned up yet. I had been wearing my black Chinese jade bangle bracelet with my Hurricane bracelet I purchased a couple years ago in Key West from the person who designed and made them
During the time we were in Key West, we "ate our way through Duval Street", lots of shrimp and Key Lime pie. My stomach was quite uncomfortable when I got home. I immediately put on my Chinese "river jade" bangle bracelet with honey color, related to the spleen meridian, to wear as "medicine". And it's perfect for Halloween today!
These "river jade" bangle bracelets are natural color, from minerals in the water where it's mined, near the river. They are one of our most popular jade bangle bracelets. Not only beautiful, but healing. The colors of jade are related to the body acupuncture meridians. It's like wearing jade as "medicine".
Now you don't need an excuse to purchase one! If you are sensitive and intuitive, you will know when you look at them which one is the best for you, body mind and spirit.

What size jade eggs and ben wa balls should women use? A size that can tighten and strengthen, as well as a size for women who are older and becoming more dry, and more "tight".
The set of three jade eggs has proper sizes for women who are aging and need help with moisture and slight stretching, women who have given birth and need to tighten use the large or medium egg first, then when you can finally keep the small egg inside, you have reached your goal of tightening. And the medium size works for almost all women, to use for exercise.
Ying Yu Jade will not profit by offering wholesale deals, but we want to do all we can to get the medically helpful and healthy size out to more women.

Every jade roller is checked to make sure it is in good condition, rolls smoothly and quietly before we pack it to ship to you. But sometimes something happens in transit. Perhaps the mail carrier left them in the heat for a long time, or they went through a combination of cold-hot-wet-dry weather, and the metal parts expanded or changed.
There's nothing "wrong" with it. We include an information sheet about how to adjust your jade roller. They are made by hand by our jade carver in China, and you might want it to roll more smoothly, or you might want it to not roll smoothly because you are working on tight body areas. If you didn't see the information sheet, here's a video about how to easily adjust your jade roller.

Jade combs are not really made for combing your hair. They are meant for stimulating your scalp. I keep one on my night stand and use it every morning before I get up, running the "comb" points over my scalp. This use stimulates the scalp and can improve hair growth, especially as you age. It also stimulates your brain. What could be more wonderful than a dose of jade on your brain, first thing in the morning!
When the hot summer weather started here in central Florida in May, and I was getting my hair cut by my regular stylist, I told her I wanted to keep it long enough to wear it in a clip, or band "pony tail style". She suggested I not clip it near the top of my hair because my hair was thinning and wearing a clip would make my hair loss more prominent. That's when I ordered more of these jade gua sha tools with the comb from my jade carver. I keep it handy in the bathroom near my hair styling tools, and use the comb part to stimulate my scalp, being careful to not pull hair out, but to feel the "teeth" on my head. It really does feel good to use jade to stimulate my scalp, so I do it a couple of times each day. It looks like my scalp doesn't show as much as it used to.
There's a video on the jade gua sha tool with comb product page. Click on the comb photo above. Take a look! This is good for everyone.

When I was exploring the southern area of China near the Burma (Myanmar) border, I saw so many pearl farms near the coastal regions. Next to jade, I think pearls are China's favorite gem, also.
And they looks so lovely together.
When I went to the Hongshao Pearl market in Beijing, there were many pearls, and jade and pearls jewelry. Since most people who wear jade are wearing jade bangle bracelets, I decided "something" for the neckline would be great, and pearls, pearls and jade are perfect. So I showed the seller in the Market what kind of necklaces I would like. She made a call, and suddenly a lot of workers showed up to make them for me while I waited. Of course, I explored the Market while I was waiting because there are a lot of items other than jade, pearls there, including a lot of (fake) antique items.
But I spent a lot of time watching the workers make the special pearl necklaces for Ying Yu Jade, tying a knot between each pearl on the silk thread used. Most of these have sold out on YYJ web site, but a few remain. The workers also made pearl stud earrings, that are available, still a substantial quantity.
The pearls on YYJ are genuine real pearls. They are natural color and haven't been treated like many of the pearls I saw in local tourist shops.
Pearls are "yin", feminine and have their energy, too. They are related to the lung meridian, with emotional energy for keeping memories, dealing with grief and loss, wisdom and compassion.
Visit the Pearls Collection to find jade and pearls made exclusively for Ying Yu Jade.
]]>My first experience with jade gua sha was on my first trip to China by myself, not with a group. I had scheduled with the hotel in Beijing to provide a Chinese medicine doctor to help me get over jet lag when I arrived. I met him at the front desk, and while we were being introduced, the doctor took a piece of jade out of his pocket and started scraping it on the back of my neck. He said I looked like I had been exposed to germs or virus, and wanted to clear that up first. He had scraped the area at the top of my spine, in one direction, until I couldn't stand the pain any more, and that's when he said "done". And I felt amazingly better. However, the scraping raises the "sha", the blood, and it looked like I had a big bruise, that lasted about three days. But when I was on the streets of Beijing, local Chinese people pointed at me and smiled approvingly for accepting one of the most helpful traditions.
Using gua sha tools isn't usually something done by Chinese doctors. We western people keep aspirin, cold remedies in our medicine cabinets to use when we are not feeling well. The Chinese people pull out a gua sha tool and scrape a body part. Raising the "sha" unblocks the qi that is stuck, and when it flows smoothly, health returns.
The doctor and I became friends. He taught me taiji (tai chi) and qigong in exchange for my teaching him yoga and Reiki. We found a jade seller in Dandong, who took us to a jade carver in Xiuyan. My doctor friend told him several styles to carve, and I started selling jade gua sha tools here in America, one of the very first sellers.
Unfortunately, some sellers are promoting jade gua sha tools as wrinkle removers for the face. That is a terrible error. Using the gua sha tools on the face breaks the small blood veins in the face that can cause permanent discoloration. If you want a jade wrinkle reducer, use jade rollers.
The legend of the jade gua sha tool is that during the Cultural Revolution in China, the professional Chinese doctors were either murdered or sent to be with the peasants. They had none of their Chinese herbs or healing tools with them. But they were able to get flat stones of jade to use on sick people. The jade gua sha tools were not the nicely carved ones you see today. They always had scrapes on them, chips or cracks, because if they appeared to have value, they were taken away from the doctor. My doctor friend was a Barefoot Doctor, as they were called, near the end of the Cultural Revolution, and he still preferred the natural healing method of gua sha therapy.
The jade carver we found to make the jade gua sha tools for Ying Yu Jade web site was a traditional jade carver, so although he could make smoothly polished tools, he always added a mark to them, to remain traditional. The mark is usually a scratch or scrape through the flat surface. It took me 13 years to convince him to make them smooth, but every now and again, he surprises me with the "marked" tools.
The jade gua sha tools are different shapes and sizes. So choose the one(s) that appeal to you, that you think you would be comfortable using. Most people choose several styles, so they can be flexible with how they use them. When you purchase from Ying Yu Jade, I include a basic information sheet about using gua sha.
And of course they are natural and genuine Chinese jade, the kind of jade used for centuries.
]]>Restless legs often start when you are sitting and trying to be "composed". Then the legs start twitching, you might start tapping your foot, wiggling your legs. Or you're laying in bed, and the restless legs start. Sometimes you get out of bed, walk around, and then think that helped. Or you move to another bed and move those legs forcefully to try to settle them.
Some people try putting a bar of soap at the end of the bed near their feet. While the soap itself probably doesn't help, the placebo effect might.
Here are two more suggestions:
1. When you feel your restless legs, lay flat on your back. Slowly point your toes straight up, then pull your foot, with your toes still pointed, back toward your head as far as you can. You will feel a stretch in the back of your calf. Hold it for 10 seconds, then relax the calf muscle. Take a deep, slow breath. Repeat 10 more times, each time pulling the calf muscle as tight as possible, but without hurting yourself.
2. Use a Ying Yu Jade acupressure roller on your legs when you feel the restlessness starting. Roll it slowly over each leg, including thighs, calves and both sides of the foot.
You can follow the acupressure roller treatment with the muscle stretching in the above (#1) technique.
And then use the acupressure jade roller to finish.
Another technique that is helpful for restless leg is Yoga Nidra. If you have a smartphone you can use an app that is helpful for learning because when your legs are restless, it can be difficult to focus. The app with instructions helps you center the technique.
]]>Keeping track of sales and expenses for income taxes is my lowest priority. The only reason I do it is for the IRS tax requirement. Truth is, I have never really cared about making a lot of money, big profits from selling jade online. Yes, I have to sell enough to pay for all related expenses, and make a reasonable profit for living expenses, but if you are a long time customer, you know that I will offer you a great discount, give you a good deal if I know you are a jade lover. And the reason is that I have a true passion for jade. And I want to share all this beautiful, good energy jade with the world, with customers.
That's why Ying Yu Jade will always offer the best quality jade: jade bangle bracelets, jade pendants, jade carvings, jade health tools. I started buying jade directly from my jade carver in China in the year 2000, and introduced this good quality in the online store. I offered jade items like gua sha tools, jade yoni eggs and ben wa balls, the colorful "river jade" bangle bracelets to USA and western countries first. Then, unfortunately, jade sellers who cared more about profit that honoring the Chinese tradition of buying and selling jade honestly, started selling fake jade, making up stories about "jade", and offering poor quality. And some sellers even posted fake complaints about Ying Yu Jade to not only hurt my business, but the entire jade selling business.
I can't tell you how often the first question I get from new potential customers is "is your jade real?" Too many people have been defrauded by jade sellers.
That's why you can belive I truly do have a passion for jade, to have continued offering the best quality jade at the best prices. If I didn't have this passion, I would give it up for all the unpleasant related work of not only doing taxes and all the required booking, but the fake attacks by competitors, and distrust that jade shoppers bring from their negative experiences of buying jade.
Ying Yu Jade will always stand by the guarantee that we sell genuine and natural Chinese jade and Burmese jadeite, and all of our jade is "as described".
Thanks you for your interest in Ying Yu Jade.

I personally traveled to the jade mines in north east China with a Chinese medicine doctor to meet with a jade carver who would make jade rollers to the doctor's specifications, the kind he uses in his Chinese medicine practice. Our first rollers were sold online in the year 2000 and we have continued to have the carver make jade rollers for Ying Yu Jade. My Chinese doctor friend supervises the carving, and makes suggestions on the styles of jade rollers.
We originally started selling the double ended jade roller. They were so successful we had wholesale from spas throughout the world. Then we got the small and medium jade rollers. On one of my trips to China, I tried a jade roller with "needles" carved into the roller, an acu roller, and it was so helpful for me personally, I decided to sell that kind. Jade acu rollers use more jade in the head, they are heavier, and cost more to make and ship, but those jade rollers are very popular, too.
We also sell a more heavy jade roller with stronger metal to hold the roller in place for practitioners to use. They are very helpful for individuals who use their jade roller every day, because they hold up well.
Since the jade rollers are hand carved, and you will use them a lot, they may eventually "fall apart". If that happens, you can make the repair easily. The head of the roller is adjustable so you can determine the tension, and sometimes the head roller falls out, but that can be easily fixed by gently squeezing the the prongs of the metal into the jade roller. And if the entire metal falls off from the handle, you can use superglue to get it back on. Let it set for 24 hours and it will be as good as new. Jade is strong and lasts a long time.
And they are often on sale in the Today's Special section.
