Small green jadeite bottle with hong red screw on top.  Bottle size is approximately 35mm long, 16mm across, 12mm thick.   Hand carved, each is slightly different.  The cap has a peg that is covered with wire and wire is inside the upper rim, so you can screw the cap onto the bottle.  Genuine natural grade A jadeite, with high polish. 

During my China shopping trip in 2003 I saw these bottles at the jade carver's workshop.  He had made them to be pendants to be attached to a chain or cord, and women could add fragrance, herbs or something special to be close to their hearts.  My jeweler attached rings to the loops at the top of the bottle, then attached chain to make a necklace for me.  Another option is to attach the string from a "Dragon Whiskers" silk adjustable cord to make a necklace.   So it is possible to make into a necklace to wear.
