This is "old mine" Burmese jadeite mined and carved at the beginning of this century. The color is "good green' that varies all around, and you can see the varied veins in the photos. Size is 59 mm inside diameter, 17 mm wide. NOTE: due to the width, this might fit like 1-2 mm smaller if it is difficult for you to get bangles over your hand. This "old mine" jadeite is more interesting than the more modern, because it has been forming in the earth for centuries. It is very well polished all around. High "chime" indicates the fine grain of the jadeite stone. The photos were taken in natural outdoor lighting so you can see the color variation and how it looks at different angles.
Purchased during our shopping trip to China near the Burma border in 2002, directly from the jade carver so we can see that his jadeite is genuine and natural. Tested by refraction, genuine natural Burmese jadeite.
