Vintage Chinese jade Butterfly pin. Size is 61 mm across wings, 40 mm high.  The reverse size is gold.  The gold color is bright and not changed over the years so it might be true gold.  Butterfly is symbol of Free Spirit, spiritual growth, wisdom and enlightenment.

Purchased during our jade shopping trip in China in 2000 near a jade museum in north east China.  It is pre-owned but in excellent condition.
