Vintage Chinese jade teapot made in the 1900's, pumpkin shape and decorated with pumpkin leaves. Size is 8" long, 6" wide and 5" high.  Pumpkin represents good luck and fortune, is passed down to family members, "illustrious children", enchantment.  It is well carved and detailed, very interesting to look at.  It was made in the past century during the Dynasty era and we  purchased while traveling in China and meeting people.  Polished nicely. Heavy and substantial. Since this has been passed down to family members over the years, there is small chipping on the spout, but this actually adds interest because of its long and unknown history.
