From my personal collection of things I bought in China but never used or wore. Tags are still on it. This beautiful blouse is off white with painted flowers and embroidery around the flowers and the leaves. The tag is in Chinese, but it appears to be a summer silk that is woven. The buttons are the traditional loops with knots. It is nicely finished inside with overlap under the button closure. There are slits on the side to complement the hips. The size is XXL in Chinese size, but fits like a USA medium, or size 10. I wear this size and the blouse fits nicely and looks good with straight skirts, legging, slim pants.
I purchased this during one of my first trips to China, and in an "upscale" local's store on Dazhalan street, not a "tourist" shopping store. The tag shows price of 280 yuan, and the ratio at that time was 6.2 yuan to USDollar, so around $45. It was pretty, I thought if I "ran away from home to China" I would have something non-touristy to wear, but never wore it, and never ran away from home, either.
